Harrisburg, PA – The drama began via Twitter on Tuesday, when Jay Lindemuth, a Dauphin County Republican Committee member and Inspector of Elections for Harrisburg’s 14th Ward, responded to a tweet of Pennsylvania Lt. Gov. John Fetterman. Fetterman posted a photo of his wife, Second Lady Gisele Barreto Fetterman, a native Brazilian, in carnival costume.

Lindemuth’s snarky criticism of the post became the basis for a Pennlive.com article, which he believes was published solely to manufacture outrage. Gisele Fetterman admited to Pennlive.com that her husband’s tweet was in jest, although Mr. Fetterman’s tone was far less charming when faced with criticism.

Lindemuth told local talk show host Ken Matthews that he thought Fetterman had a better sense of humor. Matthews agree with Lindemuth that this was a case of Pennlive and Fetterman manufacturing outrage.

Other Pennsylvanian’s chimed in to defend Lindemuth as well. In the replies of Fetterman’s tweet, the Lt. Governor was criticized for creating the manufactured outrage.

What Pennlive.com described as Fetterman “unwittingly sparked a social media controversy,” actually appeared to be a collusion with the media to have Pennlive.com smear the Harrisburg republican, and simultaneously have Gisele’s photo featured in the news, while online commenters were enabled to hatefully smear First Lady Melania Trump.

Following the criticism on Twitter, PA Lt. Governor Fetterman blocked his own constituent during the exchange. The constituent, who was critical of Fetterman, and was defending the Harrisburg republican, believes he was blocked by Fetterman to suppress critical commentary regarding the elected official, which was ruled a quintessential form of viewpoint discrimination against which the First Amendment guards,” Judge James Cacheris wrote in a case involving a supervisor in Fairfax County, Va.

Lt. Gov. Fetterman blocked Sean Guay on Twitter following criticism Tuesday

When reached for comment, Sean Guay told hbg100.com, “Everyone knows [Pennlive.com] is in cahoots with with these leftists, and this is part of their agenda to shut down free speech. Similarly this was an attempt by Fetterman and Pennlive.com to intimidate Jay Lindemuth, as he is a rare urban Republican in Harrisburg, PA.”

“I do believe that Fetterman intended to suppress my critical commentary regarding the elected official.”
